Detroit natives Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson star in the new sitcom, ‘Detroiters’, which takes place in the Motor City. The whole series, debuting February 7, 2016, will be filmed here too.

Video: Comedy Central’s ‘Detroiters’ Debuts in February

“Detroiters,” a Comedy Central show, is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 7, according to the Comedy Central website. The show is being executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Jason Sudeikis of Saturday Night Live fame. Sudeikis, will also act and portray a vice president of marketing for Chrysler.

Sam Richardson graduated from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy before studying theater at Wayne State University. He is best known as Richard Splett in the TV Series Veep. Tim Robinson is known for being both a featured player, and staff writer, on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

We’ve been so excited about Comedy Central’s new show starring Sam Richardson, Tim Robinson, and our lovely city of Detroit that you can imagine how pumped we were when we saw that the trailer for the show came out.
